The perfect duo.
At first glance, with the obvious height and hair colour differences, Adam and Tim look like the odd couple. But you only have to spend a few moments with them to realise they’re the perfect partnership – together, their unique blend of skills, experience and personality are what sets Ready1 apart from other firms.
When Adam & Tim first met.
They met in 2015 while working at a corporate accounting firm. They hit it off immediately, and stayed in touch after both going their separate ways in 2017 to pursue new challenges. They knew deep down that one day they would start their own business, and that together they could create something special. When the opportunity came in mid 2018 to join forces and start their own firm, they both jumped at the chance. And so Ready1 was born.
A passion for making a difference.
They both wanted to create a firm that married the big business expertise they’d lived in previous roles,
but that brought a boutique approach to working with clients–so you’re treated like a part of the family, not a revenue opportunity.
Dealing with large businesses can be exciting, but there’s only so much value an adviser can add.
That’s why we love working with business owners who are driven by a passion or skill. Owners of smaller businesses are more likely to take advice on board,
so we’re able to impact their business and finances in an immediate and meaningful way. We dig that.
Ready1 Group was born.
Adam and Tim started Ready1 primarily to better understand and relate to the challenges that come with being a business owner, so they could add more value to clients. They’d done the theory across 12 years in the workforce dealing with a range of client types and industries. They wanted to speak from experience. It was time to get in the hot seat and feel the thrills and spills of ownership first-hand.
